The trademark USAG
USAG is the main trademark of SWK Utensilerie.

It has been operating in Italy since 1926, when the entrepreneur Hermann Amos took the initiative that led to the foundation in Gemonio of the UTENSILERIA SOCIETÀ ANONIMA GEMONIO. USAG thus began to operate in the professional tool sector, along with countless other small firms.
In 1991 USAG became part of the French Group Facom Tools S.A., then of the American Group The Stanley Works and, by March 2010, of the Multinational Group Stanley Black & Decker Inc.
Nevertheless, the strong position of USAG in the market permitted to keep the USAG identity, its brand and autonomy.
The synergies that came from the merge have contributed to the growth of the company through the optimisation of production and the sharing of technological, logistical and marketing capabilities.
From the outset, USAG has made quality and innovation the key factors in its growth and success on the market. The constant pursuit of a Total Quality Programme has resulted in UNI EN ISO 9002 certification, obtained in 1992, and UNI EN ISO 9001:94 obtained in 1995, as well as the subsequent extension to the new "Vision 2000" of UNI EN ISO 9001, achieved in 2003. On 2008 also the certificate SA 8000 was obtained.
