- What is the difference between the standard profile and the Fullcontact profile®?
The FullContact profile® is the result of meticulous computer-assisted studies which have led to replace the traditional hexagon and bihexagon profiles with curved profiles. These offer considerable advantages, including:
- Longer tool life: absence of sharp edges that could cause breakage
- Less risk of damage to nuts and screws: the force is applied on the sides of the nuts rather than to the corners
- Increased tightening power: the larger contact surfaces involved lead to a general reduction in stresses.
- What is the Block system?
Block system swivel head T-handle wrenches feature a patented system for retaining and quick release of screws and nuts. Once the nut has been inserted into the socket, it is held by a spring which prevents it from falling out. Grip can be released by raising the tip of the spring slightly, so that the nut will fall out easily.
